Beloved husband, doting father, talented musician, and devoted disciple of God Kelly Gene Killam passed away on September 7, 2024 at the age of 58 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home.

He was born to Brian and Linda Killam on November 5, 1965 in Enid, Oklahoma where he was raised and taught all of life's lessons running the neighborhood, riding bikes, and playing tackle football with the boys who would become his lifelong brothers.

Kelly attended Enid High School, class of 1984, where he was involved in track, qualified for state in hurdles, and football where he was part of the brotherhood of the 1983 State Championship Football Team playing tight end. # 81.

Kelly married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Ann Sailors, on June 29th, 1991. They met at the young ages of Kelly, 16, and Nancy, 14. They had a lifelong love that grew even more special with the birth of their children, Katherine Ann (Killam) Cravens, Matthew Brian Killam, and Emilie Elizabeth Killam.

Kelly attended Oklahoma State University, majoring in Computer Science/Business Management. Kelly began his career at Vance Air Force Base, with the unique ability to interact and work with all types of people. He was an asset in becoming a Small Computer Specialist, then moving to the Wing Computer Security Manager for the Network Control Center, TIMS Sight Manager, and presently the Information Technology Supervisor for Vance Air Force Base where he managed the Network Control Center, also responsible for the management of the Vance helpdesk/Computer Support Team.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kelly. He loved a quiet evening at home cooking for his family, grilling out with his son-in-laws, enjoying evening yardwork, and a good sunset. Rarely would you find Kelly idle- handed as he had so many talents. A self-taught guitarist, thankfully asked to play with so many wonderful people, who have become like family. He also was creative in painting, drawing, or anything else he set his mind too. He loved his early morning bible reading, where his family would wake to coffee and his sweet smile each day. Kelly's newfound joy was his precious new granddaughter, Sailor Ann Cravens. Her birth brought such joy.

Kelly's faith was the foundation of his life. He loved Jesus and not only shared his faith with those around him, but he modeled it in his actions. He played in Emmanuel Enid's modern worship band, Refuge, every Sunday and loved his church family. His desire was that everyone would know the saving grace of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Kelly will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his loving family.

Kelly is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nancy of the home, daughter Katherine (Killam) Cravens, her husband Chance Cravens, daughter Emilie Killam, and son Matthew Killam. His father Brian Killam of Enid, granddaughter Sailor Ann Cravens, mother-in-law Ruthann Sailors of Enid, sister-in-law Brooke (Sailors) Kadet, brother-in-Law Greg Kadet of Tampa, nephew Jake Kadet, of Tampa, niece Anna Kadet, of Tampa, and niece Candice Miller, of Enid.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Linda Killam, Father-in-Law Tom Sailors, and brother Mark Killam.

Memorials may be made in Kelly's name through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
