Judie Ann Stover (Travis)

May 31, 1945 - May 22, 2024

A committal service for her cremains was held on June 12, 2024, in Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, Garfield, Oklahoma.

Judie was born on May 31, 1945 in Vernon, Wilbarger, Texas, to Eugene P. and Sarah "Lucille" (BOYLE) TRAVIS. After a long illness, she passed away on May 22, 2024 at the Vitas Hospital in Allen, Collin, Texas.

Having been raised in Tillman & Garfield Counties, Oklahoma, Judie married Charles Olin STOVER, on Dec. 27, 1963, in Enid. They were divorced in 1979 in Texas, leaving no issue. She never remarried. Judie had been a long term resident of Carrollton, Texas. She graduated in 1985 from the University of Texas at Dallas, and had worked for many years for Thompson-Reuters Corporation before her retirement.

Judie was proceeded in death by her parents Eugene & Lucille TRAVIS and "all" of her eight siblings: Virginia "Louise" UMBENHOWER, (spouse: Homer) of LA, CA., Charles (Bud) Vannoy TRAVIS, (Anna) Enid, OK., Mary Ethel FRANCIAMORE, (Guido) Enfield, CT., Betty Jean KEYES, (Kelton) Davidson, OK., Joan BREWER, (Floyd) Hutchinson, KS., Doris LaJune TRAVIS, Davidson, OK., Ray Allen TRAVIS, (Thelma) Enid, OK. and Ronald Eugene TRAVIS, (Gloria), OKC, OK.

Judie is survived by two in-laws, Thelma TRAVIS & Floyd BREWER (above) and "many" nieces and nephews. Because of her infectious laugh, great smile and many kindnesses, she also leaves a host of endeared friends. Judie (TRAVIS) STOVER, will be greatly missed!
