The funeral for Barbara J. Koch, 87 year old Enid resident is 11:00AM Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Rev. Chuck Coulter officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Barbara was born November 11, 1936 in Canton, Oklahoma to Andrew and Arzella (Kopf) Coyle and died Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Enid.
She married Leon E. McKinney in 1952 in the Church of God in Enid. They later divorced.
On October 10, 1966 she married George F. Koch and the couple made their home in Enid. Barbara waited tables at the old Polly and Peggy's and was also a housekeeper for several families in Enid.
She was a long-time member of the First Church of God.
She and George enjoyed fishing at Canton Lake.
She is survived by her son Steven McKinney and wife Sheryla and daughter Cindy Koch and fiancee Kenny Hay. Granddaughters Bridgitte , April, Austin, Derrick and Megan. Daughter-in-law Tayna Prochaska, one brother Tommy Koch and sisters Lavera and Deloris. Also numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preeded in death by her parents, her husband George, sons Arnold and Paul and daughter Paula.
