ENID, OK –Baptist Village Communities (BVC), Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit provider of senior housing and services, announced today Baptist Village of Enid, formerly Golden Oaks Village, is ready to serve Enid, Garfield County, and the greater northwest Oklahoma area.

Baptist Village of Enid is BVC’s 12th community in Oklahoma. The campus spans approximately 97 acres and offers a continuing care lifestyle community with 189 Independent Living apartments, cottages, and townhomes, as well as a 33-apartment Assisted Living Neighborhood and 90-bed Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, and Physical Rehabilitation Neighborhood. Baptist Village of Enid will continue offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in the specially designated rehabilitation neighborhood.
Ricky Coleman has joined BVC as the Campus Director at the new Enid location. Ricky brings with him a robust background in senior adult living and a calling of caring for people. “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Campus Director for Baptist Village of Enid. Baptist Village is focused on the full resident experience, and the benefit this location brings to northwest Oklahoma is immeasurable. We look forward to providing an enriching lifestyle experience for our residents as we support them to live the lives they want and deserve,” said Coleman.
Robin Barby will serve as Associate Campus Director. Robin is a familiar face to the residents at Baptist Village of Enid. She had been the Director of Health Services for Golden Oaks Village since December 2020. “Robin is a remarkable asset to Baptist Village of Enid. She brings with her valuable knowledge about the residents, the team members, and the Enid community,” stated Coleman.
Baptist Village of Enid, like all Baptist Village Communities campuses, is open to residents of all denominations. Not a Baptist? Come on in. The services offered on a BVC campus are available to everyone who qualifies.
Additionally, Entrusted Hearts by Baptist Village, the home care and medical equipment division of BVC, will begin offering services to an additional eleven counties in Northwest Oklahoma. Entrusted Hearts reaches more than 58% of Oklahoma’s population through offices in Oklahoma City, Owasso, Lawton, and now Enid.
