Celebration of Life Service for Gehyman Lee “Jeep” Howard will be Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 10:00 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark McAdow and Pastor Quintin Wray officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Gehyman was born on March 3, 1940, in Nash, Oklahoma to Gehyman “Pete” Byron and Helen Pauline (Boehm) Howard and died on February 4, 2023, in Enid.
He grew up in Hillsdale, OK and graduated from Hillsdale High School. Gehyman married Alice Marie Montgomery on September 5, 1959, and they had three sons. Gehyman worked at Waldon’s, Trend Drilling, Gold Spot and Atwoods, where he retired as an assistant manager. He was a member of Hillsdale Bible Church and Enid Horseshoe Pitching Club. He also bowled in Enid and Fairview. Gehyman later married Deborah Cox.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; parents; sister, and a niece.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; three sons, Paul Howard, David Howard, and Luke Howard; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Young.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Shepherd’s Cupboard Food Pantry.
