ENID, OK—1390 AM KCRC is where Northwest Oklahoma has gone for sports information for over two decades. Listeners woke up this morning to a new name, a new sound and a new attitude on the radio and at CTBsports.com.
-
The new CTBsports Radio 1390 KCRC launched at midnight on Monday, August 1 as an affiliate of CBS Sports Radio. The new lineup is headlined by The Jim Rome Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by former Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma Storm basketball player Doug Gottlieb’s show from 2 to 5 p.m.
-
The rest of the lineup includes Gio and Jones from 5 to 8 a.m., Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney from 8 to 11 a.m., Damon Amendolara from 5 to 9 p.m., Scott Ferrall from 9 to 1 a.m. and former Northwest Oklahoma radio personality Amy Lawrence from 1 to 5 a.m.
-
The “CTBsports Radio” branding extends the use of a name that has become synonymous with local live sports broadcasting in the area. Under the CTBsports umbrella (including 107.1 KNID and 95.7 KXLS), Chisholm Trail Broadcasting has brought listeners more live local sporting events than any other radio stations in Oklahoma. Now “CTBsports” has its own 24/7 home on the radio dial at 1390 AM KCRC.
-
“We are excited to have the opportunity to bring CBS Sports Radio to Northwest Oklahoma.” Chisholm Trail Broadcasting General Manager Sandy Daniels said. “Jim Rome is one of the biggest names in sports radio and Doug Gottlieb knows all about Enid, the state of Oklahoma, the Big 12 and the Thunder. Their lineup, from top to bottom, is solid and it just builds on the sports commitment that CTBsports has made to the area.”
-
CTBsports Radio 1390 KCRC will soon have its own app, which will be available free on ITunes and Google Play. Right now, you can download the 107.1 KNID app and access CTBsports Radio as well.
