Waller Day

Waller alum, former teachers, employees, principals and students took a stroll down memory lane on Friday, December 6 as part of Waller Day!

Waller Middle School, formerly Waller Junior High, holds Waller Day every three years, Waller invites anyone associated with the school to come back and enjoy a mini reunion of sorts.

This years Waller Day was highlighted by guest speaker District Attorney Mike Fields. Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb was scheduled to speak but due to weather could not participate. There was also talent provided by the Waller students. Some played piano and sang, while Hype Dance Productions, made up of Waller girls, debuted one of their competitive numbers.

The Waller choir performed as well as the Waller orchestra. A brief history Mr. Waller was given along with facts about the school.

A cake and punch reception followed immediately after the presentation. Students were treated to cookies on the gymnasium.
