Thad  & Trent Luckinbill, actor/lawyer. Thad and Trent Luckinbill were born April 24, 1975, in Enid, and they’ve since gone Hollywood and produced their first movie together, “The Good Lie” starring Reese Witherspoon. Trent earned a law degree at the University of Oklahoma and has an extensive legal and financial background in the private and public sectors at the Department of Treasury’s Office of Financial Stability, as a lawyer at the Justice Department in Washington, D.C., and in private equity groups after that.

Thad took a business degree from OU and moved to California, where he went to work for a producer and studied acting. He’s been a producer and actor for nearly 15 years, perhaps best-known for his role as J.T. Hellstrom on the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless.”
When he decided to get really serious about producing and financing big-time, quality films with Smith, they recruited his brother Trent as a partner, for his financial expertise.
He was studying in the University of Oklahoma while specializing in financial business. While at the university he was one of the honored members of its brotherhood, another member of that group was a famous singer Cride Williams. Thad’s mother was a singer, and that is why the little boy grew up with the love towards music. When he was small he learned how to play guitar.

It is interesting to know that he has a twin brother Trent who lives and works in Washington. Luckinbill guest-starred on several primetime television shows including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Providence, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Nash Bridges, and 8 Simple Rules. Luckinbill also starred in the MTV documentary, True Life and appeared in Madonna's Don't Tell Me video as the cowboy who was thrown from his horse at the end of the song. He has appeared in the feature films Just Married and Sleepover.

In his spare time Luckinbill likes playing basketball and surfing, also he is a good boxer and from time to time is doing gymnastics. From time to time he plays as a part of “Hollywood Knights” basketball team. He is married with Amelia Henley who is an actress as well since March 2007.
