Grand Opening in Enid

McAlister’s Deli of Enid opened Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10:30am. The first 50 people in line at opening received a $50 gift card! People were lining up early just to wait on the gift card opportunity.

The new eatery had actually opened their doors the day before for a short preview of their menu. Reports are that around 800 residents took advantage of the free meal on Thursday.

My family and I decided to brave the crowd on Saturday and try out the new establishment. Although it was packed and the line stretched all the way from the counter to the door, it didn't take us long to order.

The management had the eatery fully staffed for the occasion and our food came out as quickly as it would have on a normal day. Employees were very helpful and friendly running around the store helping out the customers. We were told that the restaurant in Enid has been setting some record numbers as far as the crowds go.

McAlister's Deli is located at 1515 W. Garriott in the location of the old Winlen West Apartments. There is now an empty space between the eatery and Boggy Creek which we were told will soon be another retail store.
